What we collect through this website, why, and who helps us run it
Who we are
This website is run by VROX.ai (Venture Robotics.ai), 39-41 The Esplanade, Redcar, TS10 3AG. We are responsible for the personal information described in this notice. If you have any questions, email info@vrox.ai or call 01642 925 666.
What we collect
- Contact form: your first name, last name, email address and message, when you choose to send them to us.
- Spam check: the contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a real person is sending it. Turnstile looks at technical signals from your browser and your IP address. It is not used for advertising.
- Server logs: like any website, our hosting provider handles standard request data (such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Our own logs record errors only, never message contents or email addresses.
We do not use Google Analytics or any advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not set cookies of our own. Our fonts are hosted on our own site.
How we use it
We use what you send through the contact form only to reply to your enquiry and to follow up on it, for example to arrange a demo or a visit to our showroom. We rely on our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us. We do not sell your information or use it for marketing lists.
Who helps us
- Cloudflare hosts the website, runs the Turnstile check and may process request data to keep the site fast and secure.
- Postmark delivers contact form messages by email to our inbox at info@vrox.ai.
- YouTube only loads if you press play on an embedded video. We use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode, but once the video loads, Google’s own privacy policy applies.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they use legal safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any work that follows, then delete them. Our providers keep technical logs for a limited period under their own policies.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. To do any of these, email info@vrox.ai. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
